Satori is a Sativa that is very easy to grow. It has impressive pest resistance and a good degree of mold resistance. Its delicate appearance with a long and wide central bud allows planting in tight rows or in SOG to further maximize its typical high yields. One of the many outstanding characteristics of this variety is its heat resistance. Mature plants can tolerate temperatures up to 45°C, which is an important advantage for indoors, hot climates and unusually warm/dry summers caused by global warming.

The female edition of Satori has two main phenotypes. There is a sativa-like type that anyone who has grown regular seeds is familiar with. The other type has dark green foliage with wider, thicker bud leaves, giving the plants an indica look. The densely packed clusters of calyces sit tightly in a triangular shape at the internodes and are often topped with a pair of ivory pistils, due to this shape we call this the "pagoda" phenotype. Abundant resin sparkles on flowering buds and leaves, providing not only the strongest psychoactive effect, but also the best quality material for hashish extracts.

Mandala strains are extremely efficient at absorbing nutrients due to their hybrid vigor and require only low levels of EC/fertilizer to develop a huge leaf, stem and bud structure. With quality soil and containers of sufficient size, they can be grown even without additional fertilizer, saving money and the stress of planning the perfect fertilization schedule. Our seed bank is unique in that it optimizes varieties for low maintenance tillage. This means you can grow in soil and get outstanding results normally only achieved in hydroponics with other marijuana strains. Satori requires fertile soil for rapid growth. We recommend adding 10-15% manure to the soil. Choose a brand of garden soil from your garden supply store that has the highest amount of NPK nutrients. Typical growing time indoors from seed is 4 weeks under HPS lamps. If you are growing in Air-Pots, a 5 or 7.5 liter size is ideal for the entire life cycle (3.5-5 liters for cuttings). Because of the extra growth boost in Air-Pots, soil quality and a gentle fertilization are important to replenish nutrient stores. Using a standard container, you can grow in 4-5 liters until the plants are fully established, usually after 4+ weeks, and then transplant to 8+ liters to bloom. This provides new root space and fresh nutrients for healthy blooms and high yields. In hydroponics, vegetative time can be reduced to 3 weeks. Plants need enough light to achieve maximum results. You can start growing Satori Feminized Seeds in low light like 250W HPS, but for strong growth it's best to switch to 400W after 2-3 weeks. During flowering, 400-600W HPS/m2 ensures you get the most out of these exceptional genetics.
