Purple Bud is an interesting variety from Oregon in the USA. There are many varieties in Oregon and California such as Purple Oregon Sativa, Purple Akala or Purps, which is highly praised by Jason King in his book The Cannabible.

These varieties are interesting for their colors and fruity taste. They belong to the purple family of hemp varieties. In America, these plants are called purple even if they are slightly colored, for example, pale pink or pale purple, in contrast to the Dutch varieties, which are sometimes almost black due to the local climate.

This variety is very similar to Skunk #1 in terms of characteristics, genetics and care. It is easy to breed, and flowering ends in 9 weeks. Its optimal THC content is about 20%.
