Kannabia Thai Fantasy Kannabia decided to keep the name of this variety because they wanted our most tropical variety to have an exotic name. A genetic variety that came to us from the opposite shore of the ocean. This is a hybrid of the varieties Maple Leaf Indica and Citrus. The result was a real volcano of tastes and smells. The plant has sativa characteristics, however, it exhibits an indica behavior. The flowering period is 8–9 weeks indoors, and outdoors can be harvested in the last week of September. It has dense and voluminous central buds of dark color, which become firm in the fourth to fifth week of flowering. It is a very robust plant with great resistance to diseases caused by insects and fungi. Caribbean, Afghan and Indian ancestors endow the hybrid with great stability. Outdoors, the plant forms thickets of large buds with thin leaves on the tops and large leaves on the lower branches, which are covered with trichomes. The buds begin to bloom vigorously, then burst, giving way to an explosion of trichomes that coat them, as if several cups of sugar had been poured onto the plant. From the first days of its flowering, the plant spreads a very strong smell of coffee and needles. Uplifting at the beginning and relaxing at the end, you can enjoy the exquisite balance of indica and sativa that is characteristic of this variety.
For proper growth, it is necessary to feed the plant well from the beginning of its life cycle, paying special attention to the flowering stage and making sure that the buds are dense and do not become loose. To get a good harvest, it is recommended to prune the plant regularly, in addition, good results can be achieved using the method SCROG . Since the plant does not need to grow much to form a large and heavy central bud, it is enough to use pots with a volume of 5 liters. The plant needs a lot of light, so it is recommended for outdoor cultivation.
Indoors, a light source should be brought closer to it during flowering. During the flowering stage, we gradually increased the EC every week, bringing this figure from 1.2 to 2.2.
In addition, carbohydrates (or molasses) should be used to get the maximum flavor of Thai Fantasy at the time of consumption. This variety is surprisingly easy to grow and has good productivity.
