The plate silencer is used to absorb noise generated during the operation of ventilation equipment and propagating through the air ducts of ventilation systems. Used for installation in rectangular ducts. Significantly reduces the noise level in the duct. The silencer is used in conjunction with a soundproof fan in cases where the requirements for noise reduction are imposed not only on the air duct, but also on the equipment as a whole. Silencer housing and plate shells are made of galvanized steel. The plates are filled with non-combustible sound-absorbing material with a protective coating that prevents the fibers from blowing out.

The silencer is mounted using a flange connection. When assembling, it is necessary to take into account the direction of air movement (should correspond to the arrow on the silencer). To achieve maximum sound absorption efficiency, it is recommended to provide a straight section in front of the silencer with a length of at least 1 m. The best effect can be achieved by installing silencers in series one after another.
