The advantage of AK-47 varieties is that they shorten the flowering period of hybrids obtained by crossing them with some varieties with a strong sativa onset. The presence of Ortega in the genetic composition accelerates maturation, even when it seems that the plant is still a few weeks away from maturation. We bred AK-47 with these characteristics and by crossing it with one of our Nortern Lights varieties, the flowering time was reduced to 8 weeks. This allows harvesting at the end of September. The plant shows its full potential, characteristic of indica and sativa hybrids (in the proportion of 60 to 40%), in open ground.

Therefore, when planted in April, the height of the plant will be at least two meters, and it can occupy an area of several square meters. For proper outdoor cultivation, it is necessary to prepare the substrate in which the plant will be grown. During the winter months, fertilize it so that the soil can decompose and absorb all the nutrients. On sunny days, you can cover the ground with black plastic sheeting to attract heat, this will kill insects that would otherwise eat the roots of the plant.

La Reina is recommended for beginner growers as it is easy to grow, has no problem growing and produces thick stems and branches. It has thin leaves typical of AK with dark lemon green denticles. The plant has short internodes and begins to form branches during the initial stages of growth, forming large bushes. Indoors, the extremely productive "Sea of Green" method can be used. When grown indoors, the vegetative stage should not be delayed, two weeks is sufficient to bring this fast growing plant under control. The height of 60 cm allows you to get good results.

Even though the plant does not need large amounts of fertilizer, the EC must be controlled so that it is not deficient. In this case, the leaves begin to noticeably turn yellow. Organic fertilizers are recommended for this plant. Adding good worm humus and bat droppings to the substrate in the required quantities, combined with regular watering, will be sufficient.

Flowering is riotous and forms large and heavy clusters of flowers, the number of which is growing right before our eyes. The heavy and compact buds are reddish in color and completely covered in resin. Produces good hashish. The taste is reminiscent of sour tropical fruits and leaves a sharp aftertaste in the mouth.
